Yes. You can collect rent for free on up to three properties. Tenants cover the payment fee. Pro is $15 a month for unlimited properties.
The tenant pays it at checkout, so you always receive the full rent. They pay the payment processing cost plus a small flat RentMerchant fee on the Free plan, waived on Pro. You can see the exact amount before anyone pays. The full breakdown is on our fee schedule.
By bank transfer (ACH) or debit and credit card. They can pay once or set up autopay so rent goes out on its own each month.
Payments deposit to the bank account you connect. Card payments usually clear in a couple of business days and bank transfers a little after that.
Payments run through a major payment processor, the same infrastructure large companies use. We never store raw card or bank numbers, and your account can use two-factor login.
Yes. Add your properties and invite your tenants, and you can run RentMerchant alongside your old setup until you are ready to switch fully.
